Our smiles are our most precious resource.
Recently I had lost mine,
what a shame! How could I deprive you, dear Enith,
and my beloved ones of this golden piece of me.
But I am fighting it. I want my smile back.
I don’t won’t to be dull, nor grey, nor sad.
I fear to be an annoying, complaining, and sour man.
Hopefully in a day not far from today,
I will look in your eyes to tell:
“What a wonderful day, isn’t it my love?”
Smiling and beaming.
No clouds in front of my eyes.
Radiating a full sunny face to you.
Then it will truly be a wonderful day.
